Dear Literary Godmother
Dear Literary Godmother,
You said listen and in that quietude I might hear the voice of God. You taught me the power of words and storytelling. You were the first author I fell in love with. The first complete book of poetry I enjoyed. The first autobiography I read and still the most memorable, courageous one. You are one of the reasons I love literature.
This letter will never be delivered to your physical address. It will never be read by your eyes. But your letters, poems and words will remain displayed on my bookshelves and as fond gems in my mind.
Blessings, peace and may you rest in love.
