Series Sunday

Series Sunday is a new bookish meme hosted by yours truly, Literary Marie of Precision Reviews. I encourage all of my fellow book bloggers and bookhearts to play along.

  • Read an installment of a series.
  • Post a review/recommendation on your blog, FB, Twitter, Goodreads, or Shelfari pages.
  • Share your review/recommendation by posting the link in the comments section below.
  • Include the title, author, and name of the series so that other Series Sunday participants can add the book to their TBR Lists.
Back Spin (Myron Bolitar Mysteries)
My Series Sunday pick is Back Spin, the fourth book in the Myron Bolitar series by Harlan Coben. Golfer Linda Coldren and her golf pro husband, Jack, is distraught. Their teenage son has been kidnapped right at the peak of the U.S. Open. Jack can't blow this tournament, as he did 23 years ago. It appears someone is trying to sabotage his game play. Myron puts on his detective hat and tries to solve the mystery. He may even get a client in return. Meanwhile, Win has family secrets that may explode and Esperanza finally graduates, wishing to be made partner of MB Sports Reps.

I'm not a golfer, but still enjoyed this fast-paced novel. Coben spins a story and gets you tangled into the plot. Myron's wit, Esperanza's determination, and Win's mystery nature doesn't take a backseat. As usual with this series, I recommend it.
